The Honor Spingarn / Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship (“Scholarship”) provides “full-ride” funding for a student from Turkmenistan to a four-year university which teaches in the Western critical style, including (if necessary) a fifth year of preparatory studies.  The Scholarship seeks those who have demonstrated a thirst for knowledge, leadership potential, and a commitment to community service.  The Scholarship mandates that its recipients participate in the Foundation Curriculum Program (for more, see below). Applications are usually available at the beginning of the year, and will be announced by the Program Manager.
