The Karakum Scholars Roundtable is a yearly conference held in Central Asia for students from Turkmenistan with the following objectives:  (1) Provide a context-appropriate background on philosophy, concepts of legal rights and remedies, peacemaking, negotiation and mediation; and (2) Present context appropriate training about the creation and operation of small-scale civil society projects in Turkmenistan.  This year’s Roundtable is March 19 – 22, 2010 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
