Kenyon Weaver

Board Director and President
Kenyon served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the ancient town of Koneurgench, in Turkmenistan's Northern region of Dashoguz. He taught English at a local school, coached a girls' basketball team, and developed programs of critical reading and democracy. Sari Long

Board Member and Financial Coordinator
Sari served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Tagta, the "Paris of Turkmenistan." While teaching English at an elementary school, she also coached basketball and baseball teams and coordinated local language camps. Prior to life as a Peace Corps Volunteer, Sari was the Development Director of the Progressive Media Project. She is now an HR Generalist at Akamai Technologies in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Steve Lynch

Board Member and Program Director-Community Development
Steve Lynch served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Dashoguz, the central city in the northernmost region of Turkmenistan. His main work was at a local school where he led students and teachers in English lessons, sports, and weekly singing clubs dedicated to American and British indie pop and rock songs. He currently lives in New York City and teaches 9th and 10th grade English at a public high school in Brooklyn. He can be reached at steve.lynch@turkmenistan-foundation.org

Christopher Miller

Board Member
Chris served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the northern region of Turkmenistan from 2003-2005. Working within rural clinics and schools, he developed public health materials and conducted community presentations on a variety of medical issues. Along with his wife Sari, he helped to build the first baseball field in Central Asia and used it as a platform for team-building, leadership training, and cultural exchange. R. Benjamin Meade

Board Member and Program Director
Ben served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Koneurgench in the Dashoguz Region of Turkmenistan. Ben was a Health Education Volunteer at a community house of health where he helped establish a resource center for women and children. He also taught classes on healthy living and lifestyle choices to children in local schools. In conjunction with Winrock International, Ben helped introduce soybeans to local farmers.
